BOOKLETS | PROGRAMS | NEWSLETTERS | DIRECTORIES | CALENDARS | AND MORE!
Booklets may either be a single sheet folded in half or saddle stitched for multiple pages. Before submitting your document, please review the following information. Adhering to these tips will prevent delays in the printing process.
- Sizes are finished folded sizes, not sheet sizes.
- Due to equipment limitations, gloss cover is only available for one-sided covers or for a single two-sided sheet folded in half.

- Maximum page limits vary and depend on the stock the booklet will be printed on. For example, an 80-page booklet is more doable with 20# or 50# text versus 24# or 60# text.
- Listed sizes are the finished size once the booklet is folded and should be the page size of your document when submitting finished files for printing. Do not submit your document in spreads, especially when there are bleeds.
- Booklets with bleeds should include a .125" bleed on all sides. PDFs should be exported with bleeds but without crop marks. When files are exported with crop marks, the booklet software with our equipment adds a white gutter on all pages.
- Ensure your text is a minimum of .25" from the edge of the finished size. Due to equipment limitations, text set in the area less than .25" may be cut off during printing.
- Do not submit PDFs in spreads. They will not work properly with the booklet software.
- Booklet page counts need to be evenly divisible by four, (i.e., 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, etc.).
- Canva files with or without bleeds should not exported with bleeds and crop marks. When files are exported with crop marks, the booklet software with our equipment adds a white gutter on all pages. With bleeds: A work around is to set your page and background to be .25" larger than the desired output size (i.e., 8.5 x 11 would be 8.75 x 11.25). Then, ensure your text is a minimum of .375" from the edge. By doing this, it gives the necessary bleeds with a .25" margin. Otherwise, you run the risk of text being cut off during the printing and trimming process. Without bleeds: Ensure your text is a minimum .25" from the edge, and export without bleeds and crop marks.
